Physical: Valerie is on the tall side, slim, with curly red hair (see icons).

Personality: Valerie is loving, warm, friendly, but don't ever think she's not tough. If pushed, there's steel in her, a stubborness. She has a good memory for dialogue -- a useful trait in an actress. Like many artists through history, she's quite liberal, and the actions her government took in the late 2010's disturb her deeply.

She's also dead, because of those actions.

Her personality has, necessarily, been changed by her months in Larkhill Detention Center as a test subject for a new biological weapon; her underlying steel has come to the surface. Perhaps the best illustration of her character is that, even weak and dying, she managed to make one last gesture of defiance: an autobiography, written on toilet paper and passed through her cell wall in the hopes that someone would find it.

In spite of the circumstances of her death, Valerie is still the loving woman she was. She remains devoted to the memory of her lover, Ruth.
